Click on the link in the text message you received and follow the instructions to Activate the GiftYa to your Visa, Mastercard, Amex or debit card. The next time you use the Visa, Mastercard or Amex that you Activated your GiftYa to, at the specified merchant, you will receive a credit on your card for the amount you spend until your GiftYa amount is used in full. Please allow 1-3 business days for the credit to appear in your transaction history.

Activating a GiftYa to your Visa, Mastercard, Amex or debit card lets you automatically get credited the gift amount when you make a purchase - there's nothing else to remember! However, we also offer other options like using your gift as a digital gift just like you would use a plastic gift card.

Log in the My Account section of the website or GiftYa app. Click on “Received GiftYas” to view your current GiftYas and the remaining balances. You will also receive text notifications when you make a purchase at the merchant you were given letting you know the remaining balance or when your GiftYa has been used in full.

After you make a purchase at the merchant you were gifted, please allow 1-3 business days for the credit to appear in your transaction history. We also offer other options like using your gift as a digital gift just like you would use a plastic gift card.
